Machining could be better. Some edges are a bit sharp but not bad enough to cut you. Part thickness and spring look like they will last. Clip strength seems balanced. Not hard to squeeze but keeps thick stuff clamped.

Great grip, easy to clean and the right size for cereal bag, chip bag and bread bag closure. So glad I found these. No more hunting around for bag clips made of plastic that break at the most inopportune moment.

These clips can hurt your fingers if you're not careful. They are very strong however, and do the job of sealing the bag. it would be nice if they were a bit more rounded or something. These were obviously made for those clip boards.

I haven't actually used one of these, but I did examine and look them over. They seem perfect for what they are intended to be used for. The force needed to open them is not significant, and the overall quality and design looks pretty good. I would imaging that they will last for a very long time, and am happy so far with what I see in them. I give them a provisional 5 stars.

Tired of cheap plastic clips that break after one use? Need something stronger to actually clip the bag shut? Look no further. These stainless clips are strong and versatile to be used on anything from a large bag of chips to a bread bag. The inside of these clips are smooth and the spring is strong. Time will tell if the stainless stays nice, and I will update my review if necessary. They are about 4.5" wide and about 3" long. Not very big but not needed. The spring strength takes care of the shorter width.

I needed clips that didn't fall apart, weren't made of plastic and held even the thickest bags. These were what I needed.

I find these clips to be just what I wanted, they can close bags and can be used in the oven. Only suggestion, I would like a hole to be able to hang on a hook.

They're fine. But just okay. They advertise an "airtight seal". Not going to happen. For example, we buy tortilla chips in what is essentially a brown paper bag. The clips keep the chips from falling out but the bag isn't "sealed". Same thing with frozen produce bags. They keep the bag closed but moisture still gets in and forms ice crystals. I'll say this, they're the best clips we have in the kitchen. But don't expect the same strength clips as you would find in the hardware store. I think with all the hype and great ratings, I just expected a little more.

These clips are the best I've found so far. This Set of 6 "Jumbo" Chip Clips have a nice width of 4 inches and a depth of 1 inch which works well for holding chip bags closed. The clips are fairly sturdy even though the metal is thin. They will survive being snapped shut or dropped without breaking unlike the plastic variety. They have a nice spring pressure for holding chip bags closed - not too easy, not too hard. The rivet that holds it all together looks like it will never fall out.

A minor complaint is that the edges are not de-burred and there is no magnet although they are light enough and the angles look right for attaching a neodymium on the handle with epoxy for mounting on the fridge.

Later, I realized every part of this clip has a magnetic attraction so it CAN'T be stainless steel. False advertising! It is brushed sheet metal and will likely rust. I reduced my rating to 4 stars.

Decent value. Wish they were a hair stronger. Good for closing a <1 lb bag of coffee, but probably not strong enough to hold if it fell on the floor.
Sharp/unfinished feel to the edges-- you absolutely do not want these in your kitchen if you have young children. I'd be willing to pay a bit more for a similar product of slightly higher quality.

The reason I purchased these is because I thought "how cool, they match my S Steel appliances!".... I ordered the wide ones and really like them! Not only do they look good, they seal sufficiently, do not have bulk or a cheap look, and don't have the unnecessary "Chip Clip" wording plastered across it. They do not have the rubber "gripping" strips that the plastic ones have but so far that has not been an issue and I feel they grip much tighter. My only tiny complaint is that I would not consider these as wide. They are medium at best.... Stylish, functional, and a great deal :)

These are rugged, high quality clips at a very reasonable price. They are good wide clips which hold well with a good heavy tension. They are stainless steel and the description mentions outside use so I presume the spring is stainless also. Highly recommended.

Very well made stainless steal clips. These clips are great they can just about keep anything within reason closed. My biggest issue is with the cereal boxes, I just do not understand why they are not made with ziplock closer. I am so pleased with these clips, they grip so nice and tight that my cereal stays neat and fresh, I don't know how I did not get these sooner. The clips have come in handy for chips, coffee bags, pancake batter, dog food bag etc. I highly recommend these.

These are quite nice stainless steel clips. I have chosen to use mine in my kitchen. I can see these being useful all over your home or office. Each clip is very strong. You can also open each clip with one hand.

It's nice that they're completely made of stainless steel. I love the way stainless steel looks. It also lends itself to keeping clean easily. Warm soapy water will do the job. You can also use any stainless steel cleaner.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Its hard to find clips these days that will stay in place and that will keep a tight grip. This product is very heavy duty and does exactly what I want it to. My house is very humid and when you open a bag of chips, within a couple days they are stale. After using these clips, I am happy to say that after 4 days my chips are still fresh and as good as when I first opened them. This is a great product and worth a try.

I recently received these stainless steel storage clips. I really like that they seal the chip bags really nice. They have a nice spring on them which I believe makes the quality of them way better. Most plastic ones I have bought seriously break almost immediately and are so small they don't seal the bags all the way across. I can't stand stale food so I was really excited to have something to help seal up bags that don't have a re seal. I currently use these on cereal bags, potato chips, cookie bags, and coffee. These are the nicest chip clips I have ever seen in my life. They are huge and incredibly sturdy. The work on every food package I have tried them on, and the spring doesn't show any sign of loosening. They are also very shiny. When the bag clips first arrived I was really happy with them, they look just like I expected in size, shape and color. They all have a nice wide, secure grip as well. These are much more tight than the clips I have been using so that was another plus for me. Although they have good tension, they are still easy to open, they do not open extremely wide but it’s wide enough to get them on the bags. If I have really thins bags I can even clip two together. These are the strongest bag clips I have ever used, I normally use some form of plastic bag clips but these have been much stronger and I do think they are much more effective at keeping the air out. I put some to use right away and a set the extras aside. I am going to try something different with the extras. I bought some plain magnets and I plan to glue them to the backs of my extra clips. My hope is that when they are not in use as bag clips I can use them on the refrigerator. I will update this review once I try that out. Overall I am really happy with the clips and have had no quality issues, they look great, not like dollar store cheapies. I'm really happy!
